Enjoy what this genre of music has to offer. These are poets at work unlike several artist in the mainstream who've ruined it for all.

It angers me when they classify all of hip hop as "trash". I can agree that 100% of mainstream is garbage and about 25% of the underground. There's a gem waiting to be found and in this case its a rare find indeed. This type of music should be categorized under poetical lyricism and not C"rap"...lol

see this is the thing i fear,

people gonna run their mouths saying all rap is crap but when they're exposed to something they're not used to, they're going to still say its garbage.

oh well, I'm done convincing people lol.

I look at it in a different way than most would. You on the other hand understand what good is and what isn't. If you play a country song that has been well written and composed properly i will like it. I'm not a party type of fella who enjoys big bass and jumpy music. I prefer to listen to the lyrics.

People will always run their mouths when they don't understand it or they're just ignorant.

I enjoy all kinds of music, even some of the mainstream ones

One thing I can't STAND is when artists aren't original and they copy a song from someone else.

two examples.

kanye west's stronger originally by harder better faster stronger by daft punk
pitbull's move shake drop originally satisfaction by benni benassi.

Originality is the key to all musicians and not just rap. I've seen several other genres of music mimic an old classic etc.

Oh I know what you mean.

But i think its worse in rap, at least in those songs they could have changed the lyrics around a bit and kept the same tracks, but nope.

the lyrical beauty in rap is what it is in itself. yea I understand how many people say that all rap sounds the same but that's usually on the lines on the beat of the song.

If people were to actually pay attention the words, they would see a whole different story.

But even then, those with lyrics who aren't as mainstream, their beats and songs don't sound the same.
