ignition 71 lemans HELP!!!

so the key goes past the lock position and the car stays running

...i have to play with it till it shuts off. Anyone know if it can be fixed? or just replace the ignition?

Gotta replace the ignition lock cylinder. You dont gotta replace the whole ignition system. They are real cheap on top of that mabey like 10 bucks is all

its pretty nice car...not sure what kind of heads or cam it has in it but its sounds lopey as hell and is loud as hell too

haha oh I see now!

Yeah the stops im sure just broke on the inside. Go to your parts store tell them you need an ignition lock cylinder and they will give you one. Some cars they can be a pain in the ass to get in but you shouldnt have a problem.

it has an old school his n her shifter...i love it! 1st through 4th with no clutch. We dont know what kind of gears are in there but you cant go over 80 mph without it almost redlining...im going to take some pictures of the heads to see if anyone know what kind they are

hell yeah I know exactly what the his an hers shifter is. The switch gate has a key on it and you flip it over into manual auto for his and hers is just the standard auto
