so last night some one at the car meet came up to me...

Like theres jsut some guy in a grand am circling the area and then he stops and goes to ask the other crowd whos yellow gt is that? they point at me and he comes over there and ask me to come over here for a little bit...

I go over there and he straight up asks me, so you wanna sell this car? Im like, uhhhh no not really man... I love this car. hes like ahhh gotcha. I then said if your looking into a mustang get a any cobra or an 03/04 mach 1. The 4v is one of the best motors ford has put out modular wise. I then said the only real good thing about my car is the powerband is right on... He was like "I know, I know ive got a few hotrods myself." I was just ahhh i see...

then we said our goodbyes and he was on his way...

Ikinda regret not asking how much he wanted for it because if he would said like 15000 i might have sold it then and there because I only owe 7000 on the loan which would put 8k in my pocket. i could pay my college off and buy a new car EASY...

Yeah, you should have at least asked what he is offering. That wouldn't have hurt.

IMHO everything has its price when it comes to material things...

If someone came to me at a show and offered me the right number my car would be there car ASAP...

Yeah...

I was tired man and wasnt thinking... I had been up all day and just got off work...

Maybe ill see him again one time and then we can sit down and talk when my head is clear...

but in all serisousness, I cant see my car being sold for more than like 11000... It has 58,000 miles, a dent in the door (stupid motherfucking Edgar), immaculate interior, paints still glass smooth and has that sheen to it, tires are only like 5 months old, and I have all my old parts to show that the work has been done + paperwork... Its a solid car...

i bought it for 11k

at the time it was an AMAZING deal... Like, all the others down here were selling for like 16k with 50,000miles... Remeber no snow down here in the south so cars keep value alot better...

I dunno. theres really no telling. When and if i do sell it, im never telling anyone about the tranny rebuild... it shouldnt show up on a car fax either because I took the tranny out myself...

this is the south... NO snow...

cars hold value down here... I can go to a private seller here and find one with 50,000 miles right now and itll be about 13k+

haha, it's funny because I bought my yellow 2002 Mustang GT with right at 50k miles on it and still in perfect condition. I wasn't to crazy it wasn't a maual, but the price was WAAAAY to good to pass up.
