There is going to be a price drop to $199 on september 7th so if you wait a little bit you can get one cheaper than now

yep but thats going to be the arcade version that doesn't have a hard drive. The pro system is going to be 249.99 to compete with the nintendo wii, and the elite will drop down maybe 50 bucks. But if you get a used one off craigslist you can probably find a elite with a shit load of games for the same price as a elite new.

Yeah, but if he waits till the price drop comes around all the people selling used 360's online will lower their prices to get their systems sold...Also...360's have a MAJOR design flaw in the X-clamps and the GPU Heatsink. I would highly recommend against getting a used system because if you get a new system it has a modified GPU Heatsink and some mobo design changes

Why get an elite they don't have the updated computers chips to keep them from over heating. Get a 360 with no hard drive buy the big hard drive and get a year of xbox live it usually costs less than paying for an elite...also you can paint an xbox

you sure your going to even use that space? there's no reason to really keep any music or video files on the xbox itself, because you can stream them from your computer over your network...

not to mention you can always fill a USB flash drive with whatever media, and just stick that in the back USB port on the box... does the same thing


I would say don't waste your money on the elite... buy a normal one, and hell, go spray paint it black... (j/k please don't rattlecan your box, haha, paint in the ventilation = bad, you can buy skins for it though )
