high speed internet ?

me an my wife finally get to get dsl in out area,but my wifes computer is already setup for it wireless an everything,but my desktop doesnt have the,i guess slot for the bigger phone cord in te back of it,is there something i can buy an install on the back so i can get high speed.or do i need a new tower,...yeah i dont know jack about pc's when it comes to this,any help will be helpful

the pc is only like 2 years old at the most,its a e-manchine,ithought it had it but it doesnt

yep, or you can get a network adaptor card and install it in the computer yourself.

I suggest this one....The network adaptor cards are only around $12

i didnt suggest the network card because he said he doesnt know a lot about computers and the usb adapter is easy to install.

It's really not all that hard...Just take off 2 screws on the back side of the computer and you can remove the panel and see the internals. Then just slide the card into the PCI slot and put the side panel back on and your done...

yeah its easy for someone who is familiar with the internals of the computer. but I am assuming he doesn't know what a PCI slot is.

Its all in preferenve the card will probably be better and have stronger signal strength then the usb adapter

ive got a 2 wire setup for my wireless.

our desktop is hard wired to the line but its connected to the router
