home theater junkies step inside
so i bought these last night
HT-TZ515T home theater systems - home theater SAMSUNG LN37A450 LCD TV - televisions SAMSUNG how can i hook it up so when i play my ps3 its through my surround sound??? run the optic fiber cable???? thats if the surround sound has it |

run the optical cable. You'll have to go into the ps3 menu to change the output to optical.

you can pick it up at walmart for about $20...don't waste the money on the cables they sell at best buy

i have a rewards card with like 25 bucks on it.............but i might not have to use it
i talked to a buddy here and since i have hdmi to the ps3 to the tv and hdmi from the tv to the receiver that all i need to do is go into the settings on the ps3 and change them and bammmm i got surround sound |

according to the link you put up, you dont have an hdmi input on your surround sound...you only have a hdmi output.
Plus i dont like going through more components than neccesary...i'd rather go directly from the ps3 to the surround sound. It is very easy to do. Save your rewards card for something else...cable is going to be expensive at bestbuy. Use the $25 and get a good blu-ray movie to show off the surround sound
