Id never take the filter out first man... thats a big mess...

take the drain plug out on the oil pan first. itll start to drip and then once its out itll be a steady stream. Let it drain all the way. Put the plug back on. Now take the filter off. You MAY need a filter wrench to get it off. If you cant get it stab a screw driver thru it and twist it off...

Dip the top of the new on in the oil pan and get the new gasket oiled. Now make sure the old gasket isnt on there and turn the new one on there after it seats, turn it 3/4 of a turn.

Make sure you drain plug is back in and the filter is right, then fill it up thru the fill cap up top on the valve covers.

sounds easy

im waking up at 6 in the mornign tommorow to do that, sway bar, try and fix my squeaking tire, and lower my shifter

changing your oil is easiest thing there is on a car really. I think cleaning your car is harder...

if you had stock tires and the same size all around you rotate the tires when you change oil as well...

theres a rwite up by atlanticblue up on here somewhere ill find it. Its for taking the front sway bar off...

ive taken the sway bar off b4 cuz when i was doing my midpipe it was in my way

and i cant rotate my tires since all 4 are directional

DUDE I just claybarred my car yesterday.

It should be completely smooth when rubbing the claybar on. If there is ANYTHING keeping it from moving freely on the paint, you need more lube.

congrats on moving and when you say squeking tire what exactly do you mean a squeak could be a sing of problems depending on your definition of squeak as in you turn the wheel and you hear it? if so take that shit to the shop before you go to the track that could be tierod or balljoint either be a bad deal to break going down the track
