Cant argue with that the vette looks good but the ZR1 isnt distinguishable. At the same time though you argue chevy made one hell of a performer.

Lil FYI, I watch 101 car u must drive and they stated that the vette did very poorly in its openin years and almost died off til a european engineer brought the performance capabilities out in the vette.

Exactly. Bwal states up there the vette will blow the car away in anything. And thats not what im agruing. I said it would be faster than anything. But a vette is something a 70 year old man buys with his retierment money from being a surgeon. Vettes are WAY over rated and the regular c6 looks pretty much the same as the ZR1 the only difference is its got a huge engine in it


I stand by my desicion I would take a 08 SRT10 Viper anyday over "just another vette"

ive driven vipers and they were fun for about 15 minutes. they ride terrible, they are small and very hot inside.

8t6 is you cant see the difference between the zr1 and the regular c6, your just blind. have you even looked at them side by side, or are you just shit talking because you have something personal against the vettes?

vettes are a much more road worthy car than the vipers are. i would not own a viper for the reasons ive allready stated. id sell it and buy something else.

were do u get teh viper is slow,really,if its that slow why does it run0-60 in 4sec give or take or 1/4 mile in 12 to 13 sec give or take,me i dont care if the viper rides not to smooth or is hot inside, the looks of the viper to me is more appealing than the vette ive road both a vette an an old 99 rt/10 conv.i hate convert but i was still inpressed more with the viper.i guess its because i have always liked the viper more is why i stand by the dodge

That is is just fucking sick. It would be a tough decision over that or a Ford GT, simply because the GT is worth much more and can be made stupid fast with a blower upgrade or turbos.

And who said the Viper is slow? I don't think anyone here would say that. However, it is slower than the ZR1. It also costs about a Mustang GT less sticker to sticker, or half as much of what you'll actually have to pay to get one with dealership markups. I would hope that much difference in price would get you a faster car!

This, combined with your above statement, tells me your just a fanboy with no real intention of ever owning one. If you had 120k to spend on a car, you would certainly take things like "OMG my leg is burning!" into consideration when you're actually putting your signature on the paperwork. I don't care how fast it is, if it's a street car and I have to wear a nomex suit just to drive it to the grocery store, I don't want it.
