interior painting?

ok guys got a question.... i plan on painting the common interior panels in my car red... what would look better, a high gloss red or a matte or red "aluminum" finish, like the silver in my 98?

Think of it like this, it could be an investment. Buy the gun, practice, get good, do yours, then make money doing others.

thats a tough call man. the paint gun will look better but will cost more.
but the rattle can can still look god if done well and with a nice coat or 2 of clear on it.

hell if you were up here i would let you barrow the paint gun i have.

but if you do buy a paint gun you cold do work for other people and maybe end up having it pay for it self.

hay 98silver i know you said the usual but what parts exactly are you think of painting. because that may make a difference in weather it would be worth going with the paint gun or not.

I've done them all red with rattle... looks fine, just sand it smooth like silk then get nice even spread of color topped with clear.

why waste the money for the paint gun if you dont really need it. I painted all my bezels, and the whole top part of my interior black with rattle cans.
