my sixxer went BOOM
I've finally had it with this car. I was on my way home from the gym and it started making a rattling noise. completely different from the knocking the FIRST engine I replaced made (spun rod bearing on that one). From advice and reading a bit it's either the timing chain or a piston..
it rattles real bad after it warms up, and overheats (not the thermostat, replaced it and flushed the radiator a week ago), the ac won't blow cold, and i get no throttle response. this all happens after it warms up a bit, about the time it takes to drive halfway around the block. I'm tired of this car. I already put a new engine, suspension, and brakes into it, along with rebuilding the tranny and replacing the radio. so I'm probably gonna be getting a white 2000 gt hardtop on monday. Can I take the 17" gt alloys w/ toyo proxes off of my sixxer and put em on the gt?

good. I hate the plastic ones that stangs come with. my gts are the only stock stang rims I like.
