What is it that attracts you guys to the G8 over the SS? Looks, HP? Rwd vs Fwd? Just curious

out of the 2 impala for looks you can make it look really clean an simple but very bad ass, and build the engine to haul ass.

bout out of any either a 09 cts-v or a 08 cts direct inject v6

Because the G8 is a car made for the Australian market, where the high horsepower rwd sedan has never gone away, so it continues to be done correctly. It's big, loud, and smokes the right set of tires. It's the formula as it was intended.

The Impala SS is just stuffing a bigger engine into a car that was designed by committee to appeal to the broadest market possible, and thus is just a grand example of ultimate mediocrity. The last true Impala SS was the rebadged mid-'90's Caprice.

I think the Caddy CTS-V is better than either (well, maybe not the G8 GXP), and I'm not sure why it was discluded from the poll.
