changing an alternator belt.
any one her know how to change the alternator belt on an older 350, with a v belt system. i know it is something i should know, but i don't and i need to put a new one on so any help would be great.
here is a pic of the engine

easy...loosen up the bolts, slide the alternator for slack, put new belt on, tighten alternator back up.

thats what i though i had to do, just wasn't sure and didn't want to mess things up.

Yeah, V-Belts suck to get tight again. They will squeel like hell too...
