Might be converting to GM :(

So my uncle called me today (used car dealer) and he found a 1987 Buick Grand National with 42k miles, engine and exterior is immaculate but the interior is kinda gone a lot of cracked panels and needs new carpet, but he said he will get it and hold it for me if I am interested and sale to me for 12,500 so I have a feeling as soon as I get my tax return in febuary or march I'll be driving around in a beast of a pimp mobile

That car is one of my all time favorites and I would kill to have one in my collection...if I had a collection!!! It has to be black FTW and you must redo the the interior red and black leather. the sweaty smelly velor doesn't cut it.
I say go for it now and just defer the payments till Feb 09...hell you're family right?

It had to be the dynamite looks of the Grand National that set it ahead in the 1986 model year. Its 5,512 total more than doubled the 2,384 of the T-Type. The dynamite duo again shared the same LC2 power plant, a killer 235hp engine which made its maximum power at 4000rpm.

they had the same motors as the Regals and 87 was the last year for the t-type GN's

I always like the classic styling of those cars (on the outside) but man were those cars poorly built and cheap, I'm not talking about the engines but the interior, body panels, dash, ect.

yeah, they are kinda bland on the interior. but then again i think most all gm's were in the 80's and 90's...

well just as fast the idea gets killed, dad doesnt like the idea of a 20+ year old car and he pays the insurance so im again modding the hell out of the scion till I get a better job and can afford one myself
