From seeing my friend take one of those jobs because the money was soo good he ended up leaving. They treat you like shit..dont care how long you work, work you to death, your tired pissed off and your relationship will suffer. Long distance will work. This Feb is 5yrs for me and my g/f. we have lived states apart i have gone on mulitple deployments..trust me it will work. Her school will make her more money in the long run. (i assume that you have little to no college) Ive seen you and her post alot of stuff going on with parents and money..imo you need to have some kind of a foundation..either find a good job (where ever that be ) that has good benifits and potentional to promote and work your way up and support your g/fs school and save up to start a life. Kudos on getting the CC payed off that is going to help you alot now and in the future.

Ever think about going to the military??

I've always disagreed with people getting engaged or married before around 25. Up to that point, your life is too turbulent to be able to say whether or not you can honestly commit to someone for the rest of your life. (Yes, there are counterexamples to that.)

Your case in point. You're engaged at, what, 20? Now you're in a position where you can't afford to live on your own, and the two of you can't afford to live together. Even if you do sell your car, then what? If you're not able to pay your bills now, selling your car only postpones that for a few months, maybe a year or two if you really stretch it out. Then you're back in the same boat you are now, only without a car.

It's a bad situation, but in the end you have to look at what's going to be best for both of your lives. If you move, you're going to have a roof over your head, food in your stomach, and good job prospects. You can put yourself in a position to take care of yourself, pay your own bills, and maybe even support another person, be they wife, child, or both.

With the information you have given us, the only suggestion I can make is for you to go with your mother.

If you are meant to be with Heather, the two of you will endure the long-distance relationship until you're better positioned to live where she is, or she can move down to where you are.

my mom accepted the owners offer here so Im good. I would be able to provide for the both of us if I didnt help the parents move from TX to here. then I didnt think it would effect anything if i was late 3 days to pay a payment because thats when checks where in....WRONG! the jacked my APR up to 29.45% when it was at 10%. so now my payments are outrageous! once i get that paid off it should be smooth sailing for me...
