anyone use dynamat?

so after blowing one of my subs (didnt realize my amp was 4 ohm stable, so when i bridged my 2 4 ohm speakers, it put a 2 ohm load on my amp and thats a no no ) i finally just hooked it up the right way and i actually screwed with the EQ and amp settings enough to re-create that same loud, crisp, punch/bass i had when i bridged the subs from before

it sounds amazing inside, however the outside sounds like its about to rattle my trunk off the hinges

my question is, where have u gotten dynamat the cheapest? are there any mustang trunk kits? will it really help eliminate the rattle?

i know its expensive, but i want something that will work, thanks

rubberized under coating, cans are 3 bucks at autozone buy about 5 rip up your carpet and cover everything in a thick layer and let it dry about 2-3 days then put your trunk back together. works really well if you get a good layer

Dynamat works and it doesn't. I've been putting it in cars for years and it stops some rattles and doesn't stop others. For $200 the trunk kit isn't worth it at all. It's just butyl rubber with wax paper (original) or glorified aluminum foil (extreme) attached. I would personally try to find a full roll of it if you are going to pay $200. Last time I personally bought a roll of original dynamat, it cost me $100 at shop cost.. this was about 4 yrs ago though, but I still can't see paying 200 bucks for a few pieces.
