New Vehicle in the Family PICS and link

some of you know that ive been in flight training since fall of 05' and my dad was a pilot in the Marine Corps for over 20 years. hes been wanting to get a plane for some times now and finally found the one he wants. we are both fully rated to fly this plane, he is all the way up to a II and im almost done with my instrument rating. he has around 5600 flight hours and im around 120 or so lol.

Its a 1964 Beech Debonair that has a horizontally opposed 6cyl(470ci) making 225hp. the plane is full IFR including GPS, glidesplope, DME, and a still functional ADF. the paint is in immaculate condition and i love the colors

The plane in located in Minnesota so my dad will fly out there this weekend and get checked out in the plane and get acclimated with it before he flies it back. The prior owner is an airbus captain for one of the major airlines. if everything looks good, he should have it back toward home on Monday

haha tint all the windows . get some subs and get LT's and youll be alright

I forgot to actually say congrats if you get it. That would be badass, travel whereever the hell you want, as long as you got a place to land, i would do that shit

thanks man. we dont have a private strip so we will keep it at a local airport about 20mins away.

thanks. you kind of came off as a smartass but its cool. we can load up the family with the dog and fuel up and go anywhere, weather permitting. no one likes to get stuck in a t-storm or hurricane

im sure the plane is lounder than any V6 with LT's. the exhaust on it is basically headers to a small muffler and the dumps out of the cowling.

congrats just over a hundred hours nice....planes in good shape too....I live in Cancun you should fly down sometime and we will go visit my buddy south of here (columbia) I left my suitcases there the last time I was there and really need to pick them up...I will pay your gas.....LOL....just kidding....congrats
