yeah man just got back guys and test drove it and it ran like crap..its missing in a cylinder and needs some interior work..not for me..

BTW huntn chev's, I never had a problem with LT'1s in my old car, but who am I to say that I never beat one.

Only three reasons I'd suggest against it:
1)Tune-ups. Look at from the perspective of having to put a fresh set of plugs in it. Price out a cap and rotor.
2)Single exhaust. Maybe not such a big deal if you're not in CA, but here if a vehicle has single exhaust, it cannot be changed to dual and still pass smog.
3)LT1s aren't nearly as bad as everyone says, but they're being eclipsed by the LS1 for everything, down to aftermarket parts. Go through a Scummit catalog, and double check that you'll be able to get everything you want for the car. I'm not saying you can't, but double check it.

All in all, still faster and cheaper to modify than a SN95 GT.
