What size tire should I be putting on the rear? I know these 265's are way to small. The rim even sticks out further than the tire. I'm thinking 285's at least, maybe 315's if they'll fit. 305 possibly? 2. Are 4.10 too much for a '00 GT vert, or should I put on like 3.73. I'm a torque adict so I cant have too much of it. 3. Anything I should know, or look out for on the 4.6l? Any known issues that a noob like me should always keep in mind? Thanks guys, and great site.

DeMello, here is the last post you will need to read on whether or not you have straight pipes. All other answers to the contrary will be considered inaccurate and unequivocally wrong.

Straight pipes, as noted, consist of this:

An exhaust manifold or header, and a length of STRAIGHT PIPE WITH NOTHING ELSE that run to the back of the car. No X's. No H's. No cats. No resonators. No mufflers. Nothing. Just.....wait for it-

STRAIGHT PIPE!

I have said this to you before. Quit trying to call out poeple when they are wrong. Sometimes people are wrong and some people are wrong more than others.
