home made dynamat
can it be done an what is used..i want to put some in my trunk...i have even thought about bed coating,would that work or just a waste of money

you can use that tar roofing paper ..........but it does tend to get kinda messy when it gets hot but as long as you have something going over it then its not that bad unless of course you decide to change things and need to remove it then forget about it. there are some cheaper sound deadening materials out there but when I had my car audio shop we found that dynamat was worth the money it really does work better than most of the other cheaper brands....unless you are competing its not really that necessary to do the whole car maybe just the trunk/hatch and behind the license plate
