welp...im still there hahah...but! i only have service writing,pro apps, electrical diagnosis, Hot rod 1 and 2 then super street/tuning performance and im done with all my normal shit finally! 3.9 GPA and 98% attendance....after those i go to Ford FACT which will take me until May and im done unless i try to go Mercedes but idk yet...

For anyone who has talked shit or heard bad things or is planning on going i will clear some things up..

Its not a bad school. If you really dont know much or even you do. I have had alot of fun and have learned ALOT of information since i pay attention...not to mention i have had some really good instructors. True facts...over half the students shouldnt even be there...they dont give a fuck..they fuck around and dont know shit...theres people about to graduate that dont know shit cause they havent paid attention...then 1/4 of the students (im in this category) pay attention and interact as much as possible so we know the material and different ways to do things...then the last 1/4 are people who are already in or have been in the field just there for training or to get a certification.

The things i honestly hate besides the dumb asses is the dress code but i got used to..having to cut my hair sucks but i got used to it...not being able to work on cars everyday sucks but alot of useful information is put out in the lectures.

not trying to start a debate and shit just thought id update you guys on shit cause i know theres a few other dudes that go there or have went...dont hate

its not a bad school, so i am not saying that but there are better schools out there. there is a kid in my class that graduated from UTI last year but came here because he wanted to get more real world hands on type of learning. this isn't my option this is straight out of his mouth.
cause at my school we get cars that are driven on the streets and what not with rusty and broken parts. that you have to deal with, not just things that are sitting on shelves all day. so you are able to learn what to do when bolts are sized, broken, missing ect.

again i am not talking shit about the school cause it does teach you things. i am simply relaying what he has said.

i can vouch for this thread i go there also and the school is a great learning aid the only thing wrong with it is they need 2 have a test 2 clean out the asshats that are here but other than that its a awsome school im taking auto and diesel and ive learned alot i love it :thumbsup

SAM in Texas is the shiznit... I thought about going to UTI or Wyotech, but I have spoken with at least 20-30 people that attended and said it is not the least bit worht the money... but I'm glad you are learning and hopefully you do great

i am going for motor sports tech, aka i am learning how to build and work on race cars. so that i can work for a race team, and eventually open my own shop.
i also have a year of enganearing school under my belt as well

and watch who you call hipes, i plan on getting a real job, where i actually have to do physical work as apposed to having some cushy job where i sit on my ass at a desk all day and play with my self.

then i will return to the University with a few extra bucks in my pocket and all my bullshit classes out of the way so i can pursue my economics studies

I did really well in Micro econ last year that the university and its just something i want to do. it clicked with me and i got a B+ in the class only reason i did that bad was because i forgot i had a test one day and didn't study for it at all
