Cash Till Payday

i generally don't use anything before i work out, except a tall glass of water about 30-45 mins before i start.

Payday doesn't matter. working out first thing in the morning is the best way to adjust your hormone levels for the rest of the day, just remember to eat a big breakfast afterwards lol

of course, if you're body building im sure you'll want as much good protein as you can get.. but i've never heard of a pre-workout shake

i always thought u took them after you work out

yeah ive been eating a big ass bowl of rice, chicken and a protein shake afterwards, i guess i meant pre workout drink, basically more for energy than anything cuz i get sick and want to shit my pants if i eat before the gym but not taking anything i notice i get tired doing cardio sooner

i used to take no explode and liked it but stopped for 2 reasons, 1 it has some kreatine in it and i am not a fan of that, and 2 because it made me feel like a had fake straight, meaning one day i didn't take it and went to the gym, and couldn't do the same weight.

i know some people like the 5 hour energy, and i have tried that a few times but am not to big a fan of it my self.

now i don't use anything, just eat about and hour or so before and drink water, then have protein after.

sorry i can't be of more help, just giving you my experience.

if you're getting tired doing cardio then i'd practice your breathing, build up your lungs, and get those ribosomes going in your muscles lol

take big, long, slow breaths through the nose while doing cardio, provides more oxygen.. most ppl breath like they're sprinting while doing a light jog.. you're bound to get tired quickly

yeah if you like creatine then yeah i would probably recommend that, it is probably the best bang for the buck i could find. i don't remember the exact name but there was another one out there that was almost 2x the price but was supposed to give you a even bigger kick.

protein shakes are ok imo, there's nothing fake about them and there really isn't a practical way to get that much protein

lemme tell you about fish tho, if you're low on energy after working out, i suggest eating some good fish

its PACKED with protein and omega fatty acids (which are good for your brain) and eat that along with fresh veggies (raw broccoli is awesome i love it!)

muscle mik is what i've always used, doesn't taste like shit, has alot of protein as well as a of BCAA's, I'd suggest muscle milk, my fav. flavor is peanut butter chocolate. As far as creatine if thats what your looking into, i'd recommend Size-On

You are supposed to take the Whey after you work out.

Within 20 minutes.

And I always mix mine with a scoop of Gatorade power to help replenish electrolytes.
