woodworking (humidor build)

Well, i didn't get the chance to learn it from my grandfather before he passed. Military brat and all. So, i asked my father-in-law to teach me somethings.

Well, for my first project we decided to make me a new humidor for my cigars (as the one i have is completely full now).

started out as rough wood

it is now in the mockup stage with a few more pieces that need to be cut

Damn I haven't had a cigar, let alone good cigar, in ages. That one pic has me jonesing for one now. lol

GT.... if you ever visit Florida, take a stop in Ybor City. You can get REAL cigars.

Nice box too. Thats harder to make than most think. It looks great so far. Its nice and square at the corners.

Yeah, if it wasn't something I could get arrested/fired/fingered in the asshole by US Customs & Immigration for.

wood working is awsum..my son and I do it....it's so awsum we'll cut a tree and go from there to build something....friend of our's has a small saw mill....if the old guy can teach you some thing learn all you can!

well we found some miscalcs on the mock up tonight that we have to fix, but atleast they were all too long and just need to be recut.
