Anyone a student there now? How do you like it? How is the Columbus area outside the campus? Any input would be great.

hahaha, i go to OSU. Its Un Fucking Beleiveable. Football saturdays are fucking crazy, my dorm is 100 yards from a street lined with bars and restaurants. The campus is really big but everything is right there, and its not like penn state where there is like non school buildings in there. 9 outta 10 girls are hot, classes are sweet, professors are cool as shit, im jumpin in the lake before the michigan game. I wouldnt bring your car cause there is no parking. Parties every night, RPAC has 4 pools, raquet ball, 10 basketball courts, more weights than 5 gold's gyms, indoor track, 100 tread mills. Its a reallly sick campus and its really worth the money. Im glad im here.

I just got basketball season tickets yesturday. Cant wait. As far as off campus stuff goes, it seems pretty safe. I havent been to the heart of columbus yet, but i have walked miles outside of campus at night and felt pretty safe. No matter where you go your gonna have ur riff raff but in general its pretty sweet. The frat parties here are like 1200 people, so its a wild time.

sounds like OSU offers the same shit UGA does on east campus and the ramsey center. only UGA is better

but actually, as much of a party scene this is, since its run in "quarters", you only take three or four classes, and that means you have a decent amount of study time. Im an engineer, and i have a shitton of work, and alot of study time.

semesters arent bad here. 5 classes, 15 credits, came in a half semester ahead, take a few extra here and there, and ill be out a semester early or i can slack next year and the year after...

yea, thats how it is here. im taking 3 classes, 15 credits. Your supposed to do 12,9,9. Im doing 15,15,15. I figure i can either finish early, or just take a year easy.

its basically summer quarter, fall quarter, winter quarter, spring quarter. The basic year is just fall winter and summer. At osu, you start later than every one and the first quarter runs till thanks giving. Then the next quarter runs till christmas, then the last quarter runs till summer. I dont kno the exact dates but Welcome to Ohio State - The Ohio State University has a callendar with all that shit on it. Its the same as semesters but just short. I went to a semester university for two years, and i love the change.
