Canon DSLR for xmas
My fiance and I chose to get a digital SLR for christmas, so we got a Canon Rebel XTi camera package that comes with:
-Canon EOS DSLR Rebel XTi 10.1 MP (Silver) -Canon Battery Charger CB-2LW -(2) Canon Batteries - NB-2LH -Canon EF-S 18-mm lens -Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 II auto focus lens -Tamron 28-80mm F/3.5-5.6 aspherical lens -Tamron 75-300mm F/4-5.6 LD FS=62 lens -Canon 430EX EOS E-TTL speedlite flash -Canon PIXMA iP6700 bluetooth printer with color LCD viewer -Canon RC-1 IR wireless remote control -2GB highspeed flash card -USB 2.0 card reader -Tripod w/carrying case -55mm uv filter and 62mm uv filter -Holster Case for DSLR -(12) LCD screen protectors -Lens cleaning kit Anyone else have a DSLR?

ya i have one. its a rebel something i dont remember the exact model. but that thing is awesome
 i love it. and i got a 4gb(i believe it was 4) flash for like $100 or so

its somewhere like a $1000 camaera but wth all the extras i idk how much ya paid but its a badass

you bet, should have some pretty nice shots under my belt by then.
to add on to the above mentioned, you can find web deals on the net for just this camera for under $700 but with starter lens around $760 shipped. however that through the lens canon flash i got was over $200 alone

that's cool, i'm getting the hang of it... i'll post up some sample pics soon... it makes some enormous pictures with unbeliveable resolution.
