this is why you dont street race. I was dumb and raced my friend and it was still a little wet and I have bald tires and I hit fourth going about 85 and my ass end swung out and I tried to correct it but I ended up shooting to the right into a ditch that leads to an off ramp to the highway here. I ramped the off ramp at the speed of about 70-75 and went airborne for over 125ft and landed on my front end. The car flipped end over end and landed right end up. All I remember was flying through the air and the air bags hitting me in the left side of my face and I woke up in an ambulance.

I have a severe concussion, torn muscle or tendon in my left shoulder, big gash on the back of my head and the whole left side of my face black and blue and swollen.

I thought I would never be in a wreck but anything can happen. DONT STREET RACE!!!

Wow man that sucks large. But this really is a testament to how safe these cars are. You experience that traumatic of an accident and have relatively minor injuries. Get well soon brother.

well no legal actions on me. My friend who i was racing stopped and ran to my car like 200 yards away and he called the accident in.

Was in the hospital for only three hours and went home. I was very very lucky. My dad is a cop and he said of all the scenes hes seen before, that no one that he has seen has walked away alive after that bad of a crash. Glad I had that St. Christophers flip on pendant in my car. lol
