I dont know about the SVT models but I know that the regular contours had extremely shitty transmissions. I assume the svt model has a different tranny

Well to all the posts saying buy a honda... I refuse to buy/drive rice or really anything other than an american made car. I would want to get an SHO as my new car if i can find one. Did the SHO come with a 5 speed or are they auto only.

Yeah I do...they're a fuckin rocket on 4 wheels. Nail the throttle and they sound like a quadrajet. Nasty little cars. Two words: sticky tires.
