need opinions. stripes or no stripes

there is my car
some people say i should take the stripes off, i like them though, i have a black and white theme on my car, and i think it'd look too plain without them. would it look cleaner without? or what?

It'd look cleaner, but it would also fall right in with the rest of the crowd. I like stripes that are different, but that's my own personal taste. Everyone here knows how hard it is to make a Mustang stand out from a crowd. If it were mine, I'd do something tricky with flames. Something fading from white to gray to black.

see id love to, but i can honestly say my mustang with those is like...the 3rd one in the city.
whites rare enough here, but still
i dunno. maybe ill take them off, the hood got hot before i bought it and looks like what melted the decal, so it'd be a good reason to replace it regardless.

IMO I'd remove them and do something else. It would be a cleaner look, but I understand you wanting to do something unique. White is like a blank canvas, you can do almost anything to it.

What I would do if I had a white Stang? Not that you asked...LOL. I'd go for a two tone, have the hood, roof and trunk painted glossy black all the way about 2-3" into the actual body side of the car, like Foose does. Now that's a awesome look. If I had a coupe and I may someday, that IS what I will do to it.

However, if you like them, don't change a thing. We all have a "vision" on what our rides will look like when <IF> we complete the plans we have. Plans can and do change, but make it your ride. : )

but i have that blackout panel so a black trunk would be useless for me.

Have you ever considered getting a custom hood? Also, I'm not going to lie to you, I'm not a fan of the stripes.

It's in one of my Stang magazines....I'll look and see if I still have the issue. If I find it, I'll post up here and you'll have to give me your snail mail so I can mail the pictures... The SN95 looked really bad ass.

I would take them off. I like stripes...obviously, but I like them parallel with each other and not angled like that. I don't feel like the ones you have are accenting anything and to top it off they end abruptly on the hood...honestly- how much more would 6 inches of vinyl cost?. Just my oppinion
