1) slow the hell down
2) tell the court that you will pay the ticket if the cop can beat you in a drag race
3) empregnate the judge's daughter and threaten to flee to Mexico if it isnt dropped
4) just pay it and go talk to your insurance agent

2 ways a cop can get u for speeding, 1.use the fckin radar gun 2. ride behind u and look at his speedo

im sure like most courts in texas u go up there and they ask u what u plead before even seeing a judge,guilty/not guilty/no contest

if u plead guilty or no contest ull never see the judge, u pay the court cost and the fine and be on your way, u plead not guilty u will see the judge, now if the cop doesnt show then it will be thrown out, if u go that route make sure he can provide proper paperwork showing his radar gun has been calibrated and the calibration is not out of date

as far as your insurance, they dont know about the other 2 tickets because you took DD, also take in your certificate and get a discount haha, if your record is clean then u wont get dropped if u do just get another insurance co

most cops give a 5mph leadway for incorrect speedos so use that to your advantage if u cant slow the hell down

not good advice. I have freinds that did that and the cops showed EVERY TIME.

just pay the ticket, get dropped from your insurance and then maybe you will grow up and learn from your mistakes and stop speeding. If it was so easy for people to get out of tickets don't you think everyone would be doing it and noone would be complaining about speeding tickets. You made the mistake now be a man and live with the consequences.

oh...and buy a radar detector. I don't normally go anything over 5 mph over the speed limit, but it's always good to know when there's a cop radarring you!!

Progressive is leinant as far as infraction go, check them out if you need a new company, but a lawyer will definately help.

worked for me just fine i did traffic school and the defered thing, i'm dealing with the insurance costs, and payed the damn fine. now i keep at 10 or less over.

Listen...get a radar detector. The people who make the radars for police make the radar detectors. But this all depends on where you live. I know in Virginia or whatever they're illegal. My radar ticket has saved me over 10 times. Low ball the tickets at $100 a pop, my $200 radar detector has actually SAVED me money

I talked to a attorney today and found out that I got a ticket in a jurisdiction that is notorious for making examples of students so there's no way I can get out of the ticket. I'm going to try to do the deferred adjudication.

ok listen from what i heard from many people you could
1. just show up most likely the cop will not be there. (usually works)
2. Get a lawyer if he can't drop the ticket there's a problem! (almost guaranteed)
and i highly doubt your insurance company will drop you even tho they told you that.

and did he radar you or did he follow you? because if you decide to go to court and he does show up you could claim he didn't follow you long enough or if he radar'd you you can make up some other claims like he couldn't get an accurate reading because you were side by side with another car.
