Little improv. (acoustic)

I was sitting here on my laptop with my mic out and just started playing and hit record and just started singing. Wrote down what I said, not technically a clever or hard song to write or anything like that, but its from the heart. Re-recorded it. Still working on the rest of it, only have the first verse and chorus, but tell me what you think.

ok, maybe not. A guy I used to work with is actually an insane guitar player, the first "challenge" he's had in the past year or two was playing andy mckee's 'drifting'.
