This thread should blow up today. I agree McCain FTW, but I dont think he has a snowballs chance in hell at winning it... I was playing COD last night and there was a dude that kept shouting "Vote Obama!" ( He was made it clear that he was an individual of African American decent ). I simply asked him policies he supported and his response was " Fuck You, Vote Obama." Unfortuanately I feel that the minority ( like they are actually that anymore ) are taking this out of context and feel that it is an oportunity to take a step forward for their race.

( Sorry if this sounds racist, its not meant to be, its just what I have been getting )

Interestingly, on my girlfriend's gossip blog, Obama leads with over 2,000 votes to McCain's 150. We shall be doomed today.

I guess this shows that Mustang owners or people affiliated with Mustangs are more educated than most.

I think you would be surprised at how many will actually vote. In any other instance I dont think they would care, but I think they will will put their 0.02 in the pot here.

I was hoping for polls showing Obama in a landslide, then his supporters saying: "Why wait in line 3+ hours if he is going to win anyhow?" Then McCain pulling the comeback upset of history.

That had crossed my mind as this country is known for its lazy and Lackadaisical ( sp? ) people and if they feel as though there vote is not needed they wouldnt put forth the effort. But now I think they would like to see how much Obama can embarress McCain by outvoting him.

God Help us all....

BTW- I hope Tina Fey really does need to keep ahold of her Palin outfit...

polls are almost useless though, look at carter and regan carter was ahead by 10 points up to the election and regan won by a landside, the silent vote which is your good ole boys from down south and your major business leader are who decide elections in the end. its the guys that keep silent, and democrats never keep silent

I keep thinking about my boyfriends Small Business (not making a whole lot of money right now) catering to those people who make over 200k a year, those are his clients, THOSE people are the ones who help pay our rent.

also My Family's business stands to suffer huge losses if Obama is elected

(Long time back, my family has worked hard on this. They arent some "Big Oil Tycoons" or anything , its a fairly small company but it brings in a good amount of money)

1. Because its a business making over 200k a year
and
2. Its an oil company (Domestic) which Obama dislikes even more..

I am actually a bit frightened.

My mother owns her own business. She started out working 2 jobs and going to school while raising me and my sis alone. Got an chance to open her own place since she worked so hard. now her business is worth a whole lot of money. But with out a retirement plan she needs it.
