Dang Moving to Texas gave me HP!

yupp comming from a mile up and droping down a couple of thousand feet really made my car breath better thus giving it more hp. and it is so much fun to drive I have to relearn it because if i get on it like i did n CO it spins to much. lol Iam having a blast. I know most people dont know this but higher up the thinner the air and lower its more dinse air. So any one that wounders why thier car is not gitting the #s that the same car in FL is gitting its because of the air. and I would sugjust to anyone from a higher alitude to take thier cars down to sea level or just down a couple of thousand feet and you will be impressed in how diffrent your car performs!

You'll get used to it after your first one. Id bet money that you'll be wearing a sweater next winter.

Not necessarily, I moved from Wyoming to Oklahoma and haven't had to wear a coat very often. But the winters have been mild for the last few years.

You are at a lower altitfude and that definitely helps. In addition, the air is cooler and dryer this time of year. Wait until this summer and you will get heat and humidity and iit will kill your times. Many times this summer, we would go to Friday night test n tunes and it would be 85-90* at 10:00 pm with 50% humidity. Thiis equated to a DA adjustment of around 2300 feet and effectively slow your car several tenths and mph.

Glad to hear you are enjoying Texas. Make sure you plan a road trip up to OKC in April of 2007. The Oklahoma Mustang Club is having a National show and we are expecting between 400 - 500 Mustangs from all over the US.
