GARMIN gps help
some one gave my dad a garmin a few years ago, but his car has all that gps stuff in it, so i took the garmin and im trying to set it up. i went through all the steps it told me to do, then i plugged it into the usb port and did that stuff, entered my information to register it, and now...
now the question: i click next to connect to the server and finish the process, and it says "connecting to server..." the a warning box pops up and says, "A communication error has occured" and the only option i have it to click 'ok'. wtf is wrong and how can i fix it? I guess i need to call the garmin people...

just try it again tomorrow. my gps did that but i just restarted the computer, waited a day and it worked

update: ive loaded the maps to the gps, but the registration still isnt working. o well.
