Gatlinburg

I've been thinking of taking a much needed vacation to the mountains around Christmas and I've considered Gatlinburg Tennessee. Has anyone here ever been there? And if So, would you recommend going?

it is awesome, my parents live 30 minutes from there and we are actually going there after christmas. I have never been during the winter but if it snows i hear its really nice. Bunch on shopping, good places to eat, just all around great place.

Well, I haven't had a vacation in almost 6 years and I'm 19 years old. I've been to the beach but I've only been to the mountains twice and they were to go rafting during the summer time, but then we went to North Carolina. But I just want a nice getaway up in the mountains this winter

I've been there like 10 times. I went there this past summer. It is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely go. If you do go there, try to reserve this cabin.

Theirs so much to do in the summer and im sure theirs alot to do in the winter also. Alot of restaurants, shops, and other fun things in town. I wish i could go in the winter

Gatlinburg is gorgeous...especially around this time. I would definitely go. My brother-in-law and sister just got back, and had a blast.

oh wow! That is Gorgeous! I've been looking around several of them and I've already decided I'm building a cabin in Tennessee! haha, but anyways, yeah, I'm trying to find a place that isn't to expensive because it'll just be us poor college kids going and all but their price a night wasn't to bad, not for that cabin. How many did that one sleep? I probably read over it and didn't see, but we'll have about 6-8 people going.

You guys just don't know how excited I am about going on a vacation to Gatlinburg! Like I said, I haven't had one in 6 years. Well, we went camping at the lake for two weeks the 4th of July, but hell, I work where we went camping and the entire two weeks we were there, I was only off 2 of those days!

I stayed in that one before

There is 2 king beds, and one queen, and there might be a sleeper sofa. One of the bedrooms didn't have a TV though.

Those are the only ones on my Photobucket. I will upload some more when I get home.

There is tons of stuff to do there. Tons of little mom and pop shops, plenty of hiking trails if you like to do that, beautiful views. There is something for everyone.
