about a month ago my buddy came up with the idea to go as ghostbusters for a heroes/villians costume party where going to in NYC this evening....

well we wanted to look authentic to the mayhem insued. a $100 costume per person quickly turned into almost $300 each, with an extra proton pack prop.

thats right, my friend built 3 of them....

I've spent the last week hunting down flight suits, alice straps, proper welding goggles... we went all out for this... Tonight on my way out the door my mom asked what the hell could possibly require all this work.... it's just a costume. I looked at her with a straight face and said "Ma, were building cold fusion particle accelerator's, shit's not exactly a walk in the park"
i kid you not she dropped the dishes she was washing in the sink and said "Danny, do you really think there gonna let you into the city with those strapped to your backs?"
I f'n LOLed so fucking hard i think i made her feel ignant.

right now it's crunch time, and the wands for the packs and all the electrical wiring is being completed as I type this.... here's a sneak peak of what me and my buddy have been up to....

had the most amazing time ever..... were completely pressed for time and wound up assembling the positron sliders on the LIRR

everywhere we went people stopped me and my friend and asked to take pictures, posed with us, and copped a couple feels. We'd walk by and people would start singing the theme song, compliment the packs, etc..... and as we walked by when they saw that they lit up to people shit bricks

i kid u not, we were celebrities... people with costumes like goober would take one look at us, and tell us we made them feel like amatuers and like they wasted there time. We must have taken 2 hundred pictures with people, even cops stopped us and stuck a pose.

just walking around and seeing out shadow cast such an authentic silloute made us just snicker. The authenticness of the costume attracked so much pussy it wasn't even funny.... to bad that only 1 night a year were the badasses of NYC, the other 364 days where just a couple of nerds who went all out....

By the end of the night atleast 300 people had told us we were by far the best costumes they've ever seen, and that we were GodLike

it was so fucking cool........ the only pics i actually have right now are from inside a party real quick and loading the packs into ecto 2 (the GT) tomorrow when my feet don't feel like cement shoes we'll suit up again and get some good shots for all of u guys with my real digi, not just my iphone. We were so hyped about everyone worshiping us we really didn't think to take any pictures until we got to the rooftop party on 39th st

oh, end get this, we got stopped on our way to the parade by some guys filming a documentary about "the dark knight" and took about a 15 minute interview with us. Made us sign legal wavors and all that hoopla

i had so much fun, it's the best halloween of my life, and i didn't get one piece of candy

man i had so much fucking fun last night. it really felt like we were the real ghostbusters. everywhere we went people were cheering us. it even got to the point where it got old. at like 3am people were still shitting themselves when they saw us, going nuts, and we were just so tired that we were like "yea, ghostbusters" as apposed to 8pm when we were running around, throwing are arms up in the airs, saluting people......... the last like 2 hours of us walking the city i was just mumbling "living the dream" to keep my goin, and sure enough, someone would stop us and take pictures.

by my count we even almost caused 3 car accidents from people stopping to look at us. There was the one towncar full of hot chicks that were screaming for us to come over, and by the time we realized they were all dressed in those skimpy ghostbuster girl costumes we made a b line for the cab they were trying to get us to jump in with them and the fucker driving took of on us.

fucking knockouts in the back seat though. blonde blew me a kiss as they sped away.

it was so worth all the hassle and running around that i had to do to spend 7 hours of my life as everyone fucking hero.....
