Average Joe tune

Ive got a kid that said he will Sniper tune my car for free. He's just an average joe with the system on his laptop. Should I trust an average joe with basic Mustang knowledge to tune my car? Or bad idea?

if its just special forces, there shouldnt be anything wrong with it as long as he's not messing with the timing. why is he tuning it for free...that uses up a $100 bullet on his tuner?

I dunno, he said if I caught him the first of next week he'd do it free. This is the same guy that sold me a PI intake and throttle-body for $25.

gotcha, well mostly in special forces ur just telling it what you have done to ur car, so its pretty easy, but it also allows you to adjust timing and such which i wouldnt trust a random person to do. so if u know anything about it, just keep an eye on it as he's doing it.

So, if I say do whatever just dont mess with timing it should be ok?

look over some of his tunes and talk to some guys who have had them done by him. I know some average joe tuner that are pretty spot on, my guy is like that I rent a dyno and he tunes for me for an additional 25 an hour

and if its a tune for your nitrous you need to pull about 4 degrees off so find someone you trust to write that tune

yea if he has anything besides basic bolt ons then ur gonna need a tune written for that

I am a Sniper dealer , if you want have him email me the tune at dirtydirtyracing@yahoo.com and I will look it over for you if just want to make sure its ok to run on your car .....
