Got more done on the tranny... K member is on it's way. Engine is getting machines now, .060 over forged probe pistons, malhe rings, p bearings, polished stock crank, arp rod bolts, new oil pan, pickup tube...
Now need to get my fuel system done, (-10 through out) nice 850 or rejetted 1150 carb, intake, and cam... Won't be done tip mid June most likey

Hopeing for at least 11.50s on nitrous...hoping to be able to do it with a small shot. Would love to go 11s or low 12s on my motor alone, just don't know at a stock stroke 351 if I can make that type of power.

my car has not moved under its own power since october 16th i think it is.... been pushed into the trailer though...
Wont ever technically be street legal, but it will have plates on it (to run certain classes). Also 8 gallon fuel cell isnt much fuel for a trip. here is the K member... ![]() ![]() Very high quality piece! oh and i priced the rest of my build out.... i am over budget by almost 3000 bucks...

Well... I got a lot done today... man am i tired...
I got up this morning, and changed my truck's oil! The truck is running better now too. Then Scott came over and helped me pull the trailer out and get the car out side... Then i washed the Stang (got all the crap off of it, leaves and things like that from the winter) Once It dried off, i pushed it back in the side of the house to do the K member swap in it. By that time my Buddy Jeff had showed up and was helping out. We got the K member out no problem(jeff and I have done this probably 6 times). Once the K member was out, it was a matter of swaping the A arms to the Team Z k member. The A Arms had to be ground on the edges that go in the K member. They would not fit, so we took the angle grinder out and went to town. Once those were bolted on and fit, it was time for the steering rack. Which we needed longer bolts for. So we went to get some of those, and two plugs for the Steering Rack that is not being put back on, since im deleting the power steering. One plug fit, the other plug did not, so now I got to find a plug that is in between 3/8s flare and 1/4 flare. But got the steering all hooked back up and the wheels on and brakes and everything. By that time Tyler had shown up too (another mustang guy) he came from Finish Line Performance to get baseline pulls for his soon to be 2.6 KB 97 GT. SInce it was still light out and I had the trailer out and the car out, Jeff and I went to town on weight reduction! Here is the pile of parts. ![]() Took out the inner fender wells, the complete A/C , system in the engine bay(condenser, pump, canister, all the lines, and who knew that freeon is yellow...), did not take the interior stuff out yet, took out the windshield washer fluid resivour, and the purge valve in the side passenger side fender. here is what it looks like now ![]() ![]() ![]() And here are some random pictures of the day... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Parts have been ordered for the bottom end of the engine too, and things are moving along. I am getting really excited for this season! Might be out there sooner than expected too!

nearly identical setup i will be running... except he has a slighlty larger cam... my springs will max out at .600" lift. And he has a dual plan intake, mine will be single plan for increased RPM power, i dont need any lower end power. but this is making me very very excited... that car makes 590 Horses on a 100 shot. that cam is really a nice cam to spray with, considering it makes only around 375 horses N/A I am getting excited... I also have reconsidered my carb choice down to an 850

Pretty sure I got my cam spec'd out now too!!! I am getting really excited... my fuel system and ignition should be ordered tonight or tomorow... along with my starter and my brake system and roll control.... YAY!

On motor around 375-400 and 600 or so on a 200 shot...
only need 463 calculated to get my 11.50 goal this season.... But scott... i am only getting the one seat welded in at the moment, I dont have the money for the passenger seat to be welded in..
