The Beast Part 3
Yep its that time again! Time for a build up thread... Please no drama like last time.
This season has been memorable. Went from running 15.4 as a Best ET last year. This season missed the first month of it because of difficulties... and then when i finally got the car back and running, it ran fro 6 days and 14 passes... Got a new motor in the car (Beast part 2) and now have run a best of 14.6 on Motor, and 12.91 on a 100 shot pulling the front tires up!! But you know what... that is not fast enough! Plans for next season are 11.50s or better, meaning an 8 point cage is going in ethier this winter depends on the funds or after i graduate! So here is how the season went.... ![]() THis is Old Rusty the crown vic motor! ![]() The final track pass that was in the 12s! ![]() Video of that pass to this pass That was my final pass of the season... Anyway i picked up this beauty today for 75 dollars! should have another key piece to go in soon hopefully this weekend. But this is a C4. Needs a build but my new setup with 600 FT Pounds would have destroyed a running stock C4 anyway! So now i get to learn how to build a tranny too! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Will update as i go! Plans are for full built suspension, spool(stock 28 spline for now, will rebuild when it breaks, as i have 150 passes on these 28s with good torque no problems), nice C4 with a brake and nice stall, with a manual valve body, and a different motor

i dont have it yet... but its a Windsor Based motor... thats all i will reveal now... Not sure on details of it yet

Looks like i may be building the C4 before I build the motor. But I have arranged a time to transport the Engine. Tuesday afternoon My Co worker (the guy giving me the Engine) and I will bring it home and put it on my Engine Stand!

Yes will be keeping the giggle gas...
And until I tear this one apart I dont knw the combo... It was built 20 years ago and has less than 1000 miles on it... 10.5 pistons and aftermarket heads. Just want to see what i have before i go and say what im going to be doing with it. If it has forged pistons basically all i will be doing is cam, intake, carb, headers, and balancing the engine. If it needs forged pistons then i may go 408 at that point. And heads will probably stay IRON for now, as I dont have enough money for a nice set of Alminum ones. I will know more later. But i plan on a 200 shot
