Help!!! My Pumpkin Is Driving Me Nutz!!!

Ok what I have is a issue that has been F'n with me for a year now

I guess the best description of what it is doing it "hesitation"

It started off, It would only act up after it was warmed up & at minimal throttle (like when you are trying to maintain your speed on flat ground)
or when taking off from a stop with a gentle foot.

Then it went to doing it even when it's not warmed up yet.

Now it does it anytime but not all the time

So like when I ramp on the interstate in the morning (not warmed up yet)
If you give it like 1/2 to 3/4 throttle & keeping the foot feet steady it hesitatates then surges. Kind of like the old style distributors with vacume adavnce issues?

I have had is checked for codes more than once... No codes

I have replaced the: Dist. cap, rotor cap, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, throttle position sensor, cleaned the EGR (& it wasnt to bad to start with)

I am pulling my hair out here people!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Also as info.It has 180,000+ miles on her. & It is a little slow to start on cold starts (2-4 sec,)

Please please please... I am at the end of my rope!!

With winter almost here I REALLY would like to get this issue fixed..

I don't think it is an exaust leak as the exaust is only 3 years old & it runs very quiet. Thanks for the idea though.

Keep the suggestions coming!!

you seem to be turning down a lot of suggestions without trying anything!!! im gonna throw out the fuel filter to you...you could also put a timing light on it and see if it studders at all... or watch your vacuum... there could be a leak around the intake...

I am not turning down suggestions. But as stated earlier I have already changed the fuel filter.
Checking arround the intake for a leak sounds like a good idea. I will try that tonight as the problem is still there I found out when I. Drove it to lunch today.

I have concidered fuel issue. But it has duel tanks with seperate in tank fuel pumps & it acts the same on either tank. So I am going to pull out the BFH soon.
