So, got my Stang home in an unusual manner.....

I officially put my 1994 Buick LeSabre on the road today, down where I work in Sarnia. But, when I buy a car down there, 240 miles from home, this presents a problem. Two cars, and one me. lol

So with snow in the forecast, I desperately needed to get the Mustang home in a hurry. My codriver and friend, Chris, had a line on a car trailer, but the owner smacked it up making a dump run with it.

So, on a whim, I called U-Haul, and lo and behold, it's only 75 bucks to rent a proper tandem axle car trailer. Chris has a heavy half F150 with the towing package and the 5.4, so I managed to get my baby home safely.

Spent all day running around Sarnia, paying off the rest of the Buick, which was bought for 200 bucks, getting the inspection, registration, plates, and then going to U-Haul to get the trailer.....which took 2 friggin' hours.

They had a problem with their computer system, and they could not print me out the contract, or utilize my CC or debit card....the guy must have entered all the information in to the computer 20 times before it finally took.

Anyway, these pictures are crap, as it was raining/snowing out, and the sun was going down. I'll snag some better ones in the morning.

Still down in Sarnia. Now, when I take my buddy's F150 back, I will just drive the Buick home at the end of next week.

lol in the third pic Rags you can see the fender of the Buick.

I'll get pics of it next week when I get it home. It's just an old pos. But, it passed the emissions test with flying colors, and it only has 110,000 miles on the 3.8, so I'm hoping it turns out to be a decent car. I just need to put one tire on it, and fix a power window and the power seat.

lol although the lighting has, I think, a 5000 lb towing capacity, I'm not sure it would be as stable as this F150. It's rated to pull 9900 lbs.
