If they can squeeze mid 13's out of a Stock GT, Im sure with a few extra horses and 3.73's it'll be low 13's, if not very high 12's.

Just wanted to show that stock for stock they arent too far apart. With only weight reduction I'm getting good numbers. I bet with weight reduction the bullitt can get pretty damn close. I was just showing how a stock 96-98 cobra with only weight reduction can almost achieve the same power to weight as a bolt on S197. Bolt on the cobra and now your in the light boost area of S197 pushing 435 crank... Modifying the other side of the equation yields cheaper and better gains in my opinion. Not trying to prove anything about my car to yours, hell I'm slower than most people here. |

The 96-98 is going to primarily be a top end motor stock. The extra poor pull down low combined with the better low end of 3v due to vct equals out the weight difference stock vs stock in my eyes. Both very sweet cars for sure. |
