4 rings isnt red rings of death, its the audio/video plugin, its either a bad cord or the place you plug the cord in went bad, check the cord out, might be that, or a bent prong or a bad connection on the receiver or whatever you call it

well add me to the list, just got it today also. Well not the red ring but the single red light which is a power supply issue. I fixed it for a little bit by smacking the left side of it hard as shit, thats what i did last time it happened and it worked for a little while. So it worked again but i have small lines on the screen everywhere. So looks like i will be out of the zombie killing business for a little while.

I just called 18004myxbox and they sent a box and it got here in 3 days. I boxed it up about 4 days ago so ill see how long it will take. If your xbox has the 3 rings they will fix it. Ive had mine since the xbox360 came out and they still will fix it. Xbox 360 Ftl this is the 3rd time sending it in.
