i need something new

any suggestions? i dont want to be spied on as i browse the web, ya digg?

I didnt mean to be rude sorry, just trying to point out that nothing is for sure secure and private. As for a recommendation, I really cant stand any other search engine. MSN is too driven to microsoft to solve all your problems. Ask jeeves just frustrates me. but thats just me.

Just do a google search for search engine

Have you ever heard of Alexa? Alexa is spyware that tracks your browsing habits. Windows XP ships out with Alexa pre-installed. How nice of them. I thought spyware only came with crappy games and programs? Guess I was wrong.

Regardless what search engine you are using, your web activity is constantly being recorded. I'm sure if the government REALLY wanted to monitor a particular person's web activity, they would contact the ISP.
