Second Heating Source...

My Dad, My Brother, and Myself built the building and such and installed it...It keeps my parents house nice and toasty...That way the furnaces dont have to work as hard...And they could save some monies...

My dad picked the woodburner up for right under a grand new I think...So total he might have $1500 in a second heating source for the house...Not bad IMHO...

The Front Of The House...

My Doberman...Zanzabar...

It never hurts to have another heat source but I would have got one that I could cook on also. Like the doberman. What are you feeding him?

He eats just regular dog food...He is a big baby...Just hates people in uniform...Last time he weighed in at 125lbs...He rings the door bell when he is cold so they will let him to sleep on his blanket and his pillow...

My dad got too good of deal to pass up on this one...We built the room on the backside of the house for it and it keeps there place nice and warm...Where before 2 furnaces were doing it and was kinda expensive...The furnaces rarely come on anymore...We hooked it into the duct work so it supplies the whole house now with heat...

Now the next deal is to install a humidifier to help keep the air from being to dry...

Definitely going to need the humidifier. You don't want to start getting sinus infections. That's what the doctor said was causing my sister's family sinus problems.

I dont live there...My dad, mom, brother and sister do...We loved wood heat but my brother was allergic to it growing up...Well he isnt anymore...We used to put the kettle of water on top of the stove to help...

Now they are looking into a injection unit or something like that...

wood stoves are awesome. my dad uses one to heat his house more than he uses hit other heat. it keeps the place toasty, and actually sometimes it gets a lil too hot for me
