My Christmas Present...
So for Christmas, I'm probably going to finally ditch this fucking piece of shit Spec Stage 1. In the process of doing so, I am taking a sharpie and writing to Spec on the clutch itself. I am writing on the pressure as stated here...
"Hi, Dylan ___ here, I just wanted to say that your clutch is by far the BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT I have EVER seen made let alone be put in a car. You Stage 1's need quite a bit of refining and myself, as well as hundreds possibly thousands have now left your piece of shit for a better clutch. Thanks for stealing $220 from me. It shutters on the start STILL. Getting the car rolling, all you here is the exhaust and a rattling. It sounds liek my transmission is gonna bottom out. It's embarassing as hell...

...anybody have any experience with these people?
New Ford Clutch Kit, 07-161 If the pic is representative of the true thing, that's a stock clutch which is ALL I want. I'm not heavily modding my car and I want my car to feel stock again.

Seriously though. If that place has a decent reputation, I'll be buying a stock clutch for 1/4 of what the stealership told me....
$225 for the stock clutch is what I'm after honestly. I just want it to feel stock again....

i feel your pain brotha.. as shitty as they are, spec had pretty good service. i sent my old one in with a note on it that said "Bad Pressure plate" and they sent me a new one no questions asked. in the box wrapped in plastic with all new parts.
i like the fidanza, its what i replaced my spec with. the 2.1 has less pedal effort than the spec 1. and it doesn't chatter and no TOB noise after over 5k miles so far.
