My New Winter Beater. Finally Got Her Home.

So here it is. One 1994 Buick LeSabre. It has 120,000 miles on it. Has a 3.8 V6 in it, and it is surprisingly quick and fuel efficient. I googled it, and the car actually has 170 hp & 225 lb-ft. lol

I got it home from Sarnia, a 210 mile drive, for 21 bucks of gas. Keep in mind our gas is still 3 bucks a gallon. Figure she got about 28 mpg.

It's pretty rough underneath, and the paint is faded off the roof and trunk, but the body is decent, and it runs like a top. We had to fix the power seat, as it was stuck all the way forward. It belonged to a hot little brunette down in Sarnia. lol That was a long drive home with my knees wedged up against the dash.

Also fixed the drivers pw, the dash lights, and the park-brake lockout mechanism. Other than that, it needs a right front wheel bearing and one tire, and hopefully I can get a winter or two out of it.

Here she is. Paid $200 for it.

Thats not bad. I am still trying to get a winter beater. I have been driving my 04 gt for 3 winters now and am about to have to do it again for a 4th time. Oh i forgot to say that i live in New England. Just outside of boston. Oh and my street is on a hill.

they arent bad cars at all, a friend of mine has one for a dd. not to mention for that price, you can beat that.

I hear ya. That must suck large man. I know mine is un-drivable in the snow.

Good to know. I've always had good luck with Buicks. Hopefully I get at least this winter out of her.

Well aslong as my side windows are clean i can see where i am going, and it's been then takeing my motorcycle out.
