in a predicament

ok guys i have a problem.... i just recently ordered my wheels off of 50resto because i am desperately in need of tires... about a week later i do some research on the brand to make sure they are good wheels. come to find out they are a brand made by resto themselves.. and that they are brand new and HAVE NOT EVEN RECEIVED THEM YET!.. so i sent them a email asking when are due to be in, and i got a reply of "they should be in the first week of JANUARY." and there are tons of people waiting on these wheel. which then means that i probably wont receive them until the end of january.. My question for you guys is, should i wait it out and get these, and spend the money to buy tires for my stockers and turn around and buy tires again for the new ones? or try to find a different set?

I would try and ride it out with the wheels and tires you have now and wait for the new wheels to come in...just take it easy on the tires you have now...how worn are they?

i agree take it easy on your tires and wait for these. they only make those in 17's though right? you could also buy some used tires just to make it till then

Go buy a take-off set of tires to get you through a couple months. Try dealerships or tire shops. Look on forums even to see if anyone's selling used tires for cheap too. If you're like me, you'll regret not getting them later down the road. See what you can do to get by for now.

I'm not sure how they work but I'm sure it's similar to Wheel Replicas. The ship comes on from Japan or China or wherever... Truck freight gets em to the distributor. Once they get them in, they usually ship same or next day. Call them back the first or second week in January and they will have a better idea. I had the same issue when I ordered my FR500s 2-3 years ago. I waited 3 months.

Look around and see if you can find another vendor for them. If not, maybe just try to find some used tires till they come in. I am highly opposed to driving on bald tires.
