road racing 3 times and the rods went. Shit, blame that on that blower boy not road racing.

Yeah. It was indeed the blower, but I'd bet good money that its because of high IAT's.... Almost garentee it. He said he didn't hear any detonation but then he said there was heat damage on the top of the piston.
A blower + Prolonged flogging + Hot air = Huge IAT's and detonation. He also said he used fuel from a gas station he doesn't normally go to. So, that could also lead to detonation (Bad gas) .

He was making 450rwhp on the stock fuel system aside from 39# injectors, was on 92 octane on a 93 tune, and road racing, which puts alot of stress on the motor. The rods simply failed.
