Any recs on cleaning solution for vert top?

The stains on the camel colored top on my '03 Mustang are starting to bother me. I'd like recommendations on cleaning solutions that you've had success with.

I've been afraid to try anything besides burshing with of highly concentrated car washing detergent for fear of discoloring the areas.

The car is garage kept both at home and at work, so I think the stains are more related to the top rubbing against the black vinyl piece between the back seat and trunk than to exposure to the elements.

I have a black top so Im not sure what the consequesnces would be on a camel colored one. I have used Simple Green since I got it and it works great. I would suggest anything you use, make sure you rinse it very well so you dont leave any residue behind. I use a VERY light amount of armorall on mine when its cleaned. I put a little on a microfiber and work it in. My top doesnt look "wet" when its done but it gives it a little protection IMO and it helps "even" out any slight color issues.

I know this is old, but it is still ont the first page so it is fair game! lol

My top is black, but I have had great success with woollite for dark colors. It has worked very well cleaning off the Georgia red clay and pollen issues we have here. I used it on my sisters tan top on her 07 and it worked great with the mildew and stains she had as well.

No man. Just the regular old Woolite For Dark Colors that you buy in the laundry detergent aisle. I put it in a bucket with water like I would car wash shampoo. A good brush and scrub. Keeps my top looking pretty damn good.
