Need Advice On Top Replacement

Hey guys the top on my '95 really needs to be replaced. I know that I can get a new one from Latemodel Restoration Supply - America's #1 Restoration and Performance Parts Warehouse for around $200. The thing is I don't really feel comfortable installing it myself. I have not really had a chance to look around in the area. The only place I can think of to take it is the stealership. But I know they'll over charge me. Does anyone know of a good place to go in VA to get this done? Also would it be cheaper for me to buy the kit and have it installed or to just let the shop do everything? I was hoping that I could get the whole thing done for like $600 or less but from what I've seen here it will be more like $950. I dunno $750 just for the labor seems awfully high. Anyway, I would really appreciate any advice you guys can give me. Thanks.

im in ohio and the quotes i got were $950, $1200, and $1350. yeah...steep.
i ended up getting some money and going for the 1200 job and it turned out great, but i still paid 1200..

if you're looking for a place, just look in the yellow pages for auto upholstery places, you'd be surprised how many little random places will do it.

i have no idea what to do with diy though...so i can't help you there.
