do a google for classic design concepts; they make most of them

im thinkin of just gettin a roll bar & havin it leather wrapped & put an led in myself

opinions?

im tryin to find one that will still make the back seats accessible & not look too ghetto

Just be carefull with some of the Autopower setups, not all of them are to be used for roll-over protection, just chassis stiffening. Your best bet is to go to a fabrication shop and spend the money to have one installed properly to box in the floorpan and door rails. When we did mine we started with a Competition Engineering kit, and welded plates vertically and horizontally in the rear corners of the back seat floorboard, and on the door rail in front. That picture looks like the rear down bar is too high, when you remove the back seat to gain access, there is almost no meat, it is very thin and unreinforced, mine were placed at the bend where the back of the seat met the bottom. We welded plates on the joints and then mounted the downbars. I have a picture on my myspace page (not too detailed, but you can get the point)... myspace.com/supercharger1972, let me know if you want to see more

sorry pilot not mine, found on google. but if i was going to do a cage in a vert, angling it kind of like that is what i'd do. still stylish and not just straight up.

looks tight. i love the bikes on top, lol. ive been lookin for a way to head up the mtn for a weekend of boardin w/o havin to take the f250, lol. those mtn roads r too good to pass up in the stang.

only thing is i dont want a cage that looks like i spend every weekend at the track. at least not until i get some shiit under the hood.

anyone tried to make the cages style-worthy? or the style bars cage-worthy?

thanks whitefox, that looks sik & i agree w/ u, sumthin angled w/ rear quarter braces only in the back doesnt take away too much from the drop-top's lines

im thinkin i'll just have a fab shop build somethin to look like the saleen's light bar but add some braces w/ function & style. maybe wen i'm done i'll get a patent for them, i think there might be a market here.... lol
